sorry about the insane lack of updates! anyhow, i got contacted on flickr by a chinese magazine (CBNweekly) asking to see if they could use one of my photos! first time ever getting printed! here is what it’s going to look like:
and in other news, the job is still super awesome! i am really enjoying it a lot. life is good.
working at bulletproof is hard work, but it’s good work. everyone is dedicated to the mantra of doing the best they can, and i love that. i’m kinda tired, so i’ll just post some pics!
hoyeah, i got a d90
took some product shots… these are all parts for the new nissan GTR
i know, i know, i’ve fallen off of the blogging horse again… to tell you the truth, it has been a combination of BEING BUSY, NOT HAVING INSPIRATION, and BEING LAZY with a bit of dude-i-don’t-have-a-job-and-i’m-not-making-any-fucking-money depression.
last friday was my 3rd interview with the company Bulletproof Automotive, the premier importer of high end japanese car parts. Powerhouse Amuse, MCR, Zele, ASM, Spoon, Mugen… these names might not mean anything to you, but to a japanese car enthusiast, these are the companies that make us swoon. Bulletproof deals with all of these companies, and more.
well, after a month of waiting and 3 intense interviews, i was offered the sales/customer service position that 65 other people and i were battling for. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it’s a small company of 6 that believes that hard work, honesty and integrity are the keys to success. i cannot even begin to realize how awesome it will be to work for them. i share the same passions and vision as all of the guys that work there, so i can only imagine how much i will learn and flourish. not to mention i will be going back to japan once in a while. yay!
eric’s camera was malfunctioning when we were in thailand but after a bit of mucking about, we fixed it. doesn’t this totally candid pic capture the essence of a worried look?
as some of you know, i’ve been working on a project, one that was to make an electric bicycle. well i put it together, and first impression, it’s badass.
here it is:
notice the hub motor on the rear wheel. the batteries are in the pannier pack on the back. it can go 25 mph with an 18 mile range!
it even has cruise control!
i took a lot of time wire tucking and organizing. results paid off!
i even took some video:
note: the bike is actually way silent, but it seems loud in the video. the rattling is my camera mount.
i took the bike out yesterday to run some errands… i’m not exactly sure how far i rode, probably at least 10 miles. i climbed the hills in the regional park, got some more bike parts and even got groceries which i put into the expandable pockets of the pannier bag. it’s literally going to become my grocery getter.
i’m actually putting these together to sell (first one will be ready as soon as the parts arrive), so if you or anyone you know are interested, shoot me an email!
two of my best friends got engaged not to long ago, and i was asked to shoot their engagement photos! awesome, ne? we trekked out to riverside to snap some shots.
my personal favorite
random fact: randomly saying “penis” will ensure laughter. he he he.
